
Krisi Young, OTD, OTR/L,
CHT, is a Certified Hand Therapist and Clinical Director at ProTherapy in Gainesville, Georgia. She also serves half-time
as an Assistant Professor at Brenau University in Gainesville. She earned her undergraduate degree from the Medical College
of Georgia, and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine in 2006. She has worked in numerous
settings, including long term care, acute and sub-acute, home health, and school based settings in addition to outpatient
where she has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 2001. Krisi has published both locally and nationally in topics including
providing seminars, wound care, occupation-based hand therapy, and physical agent modalities. She serves as co-chair of the
instructional committee for the American Society of Hand Therapists’ annual meeting, where she is an annual presenter.
Krisi lives in Jefferson with her awesome kids Cooper and Anna.
