Jimmy Welsh, PT, OCS, CKTI obtained
his bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University in 1988. After completing a 2-year post graduate
program in the study of orthopaedic physical therapy through the Kelsey Institute of Physical Rehabilitation Studies, he obtained
his board certified specialist certification in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Specialties in 1996. His specialty is the evaluation
and treatment of various orthopaedic conditions with emphasis on the integration of manual and medical exercise therapy through
clinical reasoning and scientific literature. He presently works in a private practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he
primarily treats orthopaedic and sports related injuries. He is presently a partner of The Allwell Group, LLC, a continuing
education company, and has been teaching continuing education courses since 1996. Jimmy has been utilizing the Kinesio® Taping Method with
a wide variety of his patients with great success. He is presently a member of APTA and a Certified Kinesio® Taping Instructor. When not practicing, Jimmy enjoys
spending time with his wife and daughter, exercising, computers, and attending LSU sporting events.
